Dichroic Range photo series
Photography, creative direction and post-production by Indrė Butkutė
The dichroic film, created by MIT engineers in the early 1960s, is a thin material that acts as both a color filter and a mirror. It reflects some light and absorbs other light resulting in unexpected effects. I have tested a piece of dichroic glass in action to explore material possibilities and achieve vibrant visuals reflecting them.
