Sculptural furniture piece “Upon reaching the shore of an island that emerged on the horizon, a body tossed by the storm finds support" was presented at Kaunas Artist House during contemporary music festival AUDRA.

Is it appropriate to stretch out fully, pull oneself up, or settle in with one's head hanging down in a public place? We are accustomed to furniture dictating the positions for sitting or lying down. While in the city it's fashionable to move one's body by going to a dance floor, gym, or yoga studio, we want to encourage freedom of movement in everyday situations - like when wanting to sit down in a public space. Furniture, acting more like a sculpture, does not impose specific usage rules but allows for play, changing sitting positions, finding comfortable body support, and promoting easy, soothing movement.
